Backstory

Virgin Territory is the story of the reclusive Gary Sinclair. Because of a rare genetic defect--see The Changing Seasons (2003)--he retreated to his father's cabin at the remote town of Dagger Lake, Michigan. There he's content to spend his days until one night while walking the beach he happens upon the body of a naked young woman.

This woman--whom he names Andrea after a former girlfriend--has no memory of who she is or how she got into the lake. As Gary takes care of her and tries to bring back her memory, the two of them fall in love. But their love faces a number of challenges until finally Andrea's past comes back to haunt them.
